Job summary

Good Energy is seeking a Commercial Solar PV Electrician to join our engineering team, delivering electrical installations on commercial sites. You’ll work directly with customers, with training provided to bring you up to speed in a dynamic renewables environment.

Based near Reading, the role involves travel to sites across the region, a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, and overnight stays up to 80% of the time. A strong electrical background and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• C&G Level 3, Apprentice-trained Electrician.
• Trained or updated to the 18th Edition Regs.
• Commercial experience required.
• ECS (Gold Card JIB) or equivalent certification.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to travel and stay away for projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on Solar PV on commercial sites including installations, inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with customers and team to deliver high-quality electrical work.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and project budgets.
