Job summary

Good Energy Group is seeking a Commercial Solar PV Electrician to join our engineering team. Based in the Reading area with travel across projects, you’ll install, inspect and test solar PV electrical works on commercial sites, with a dedicated team and support for training.

Permanent full-time role, 40 hours per week, 25 days holiday, plus bonus scheme and travel allowances; salary £40,000 to £50,000 per year. Training can be provided, so keen candidates with solid electrical basics are welcome.

Qualifications

• C&G Level 3 Electrician
• 18th Edition Regulations
• Commercial electrical experience
• ECS Gold Card JIB or equivalent
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Able to work well in a team
• Clear communication skills
• Electrical engineering qualification
• Willing to travel and stay away as required

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and test solar PV electrical works on commercial sites.
• Travel to client sites with overnight stays as required (up to 80%).
• Work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality electrical installations.
• Present ideas and concepts to customers and coordinate with teams.
