Job summary

Travel Trade Recruitment is seeking a passionate Travel Consultant for a well-established travel company. You will work in a Retail Travel store, helping customers with holidays and quotes, aiming to convert quotes into bookings and exceed sales targets.

The role involves maintaining product knowledge, handling a variety of holidays, and working on a rota basis including weekends. A competitive basic salary plus commission incentives and staff discounts are offered for career growth.

What will I be doing?

• Working in a Retail Travel store, dealing with customers face to face and over the phone, offering excellent customer service
• Quoting a wide range of holidays from packages to tailor-made to suit your customers' need.
• Converting quotes into confirmed bookings and working to exceed sales targets.
• Keeping your product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in- depth knowledge of the company's destinations.
• Monday - Sunday daytime hours with weekends on a rota basis.
• Lead with exceptional customer service and have a real passion for people.

Experience Required

We are seeking candidates that have previous experience as a Travel Agent, looking for a new challenge and a company they can develop with. However, consideration will be given to those candidates that are seeking a career in the Travel Industry and can demonstrate their commitment to this. For example, those candidates who have travelled extensively and have target driven sales experience, those candidates in related industries such as; cabin crew, hotel reservations, airport check-in etc.
