Job summary

Gecko Travel Recruitment is working with a leading Tour Operator to recruit a Reservations Consultant in London. The role involves engaging with the public and travel agents, selling package holidays worldwide and managing the full booking process from quote to confirmation.

You will create bespoke itineraries, liaise with suppliers to fulfil requests, and ensure accurate booking administration while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Travel industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Genuine passion for travel and knowledge of overseas destinations.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience using Ivector is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries and sell package holidays to destinations worldwide.
• Manage the full booking process from initial quote through to confirmation, including flights, accommodation and transfers.
• Create bespoke island-hopping itineraries using the in-house reservations system and liaise with suppliers.

Travel Advisor | London - Hybrid | Salary £25,000 + commission and bonus OTE circa £35K

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading Tour Operator who are recruiting a Reservations Consultant to join their team.

The Role:

As Reservations Consultant you will engage with the general public and travel agents, handling enquiries and selling package holidays to destinations worldwide. You will manage the full booking process from initial quote through to confirmation, including flights, accommodation and transfers, while delivering exceptional customer service at every stage. You will create bespoke island-hopping itineraries using the in‑house reservations system, liaise with external suppliers to fulfil special requests, and ensure all booking administration is completed accurately.

You Will Have:

• Travel industry experience advantageous but not essential
• Genuine passion for travel and knowledge of overseas destinations
• Excellent knowledge of computers and MS Office - experience using Ivector is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible working hours
