Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to support high-quality trauma rehabilitation. You will deliver patient treatments under a Physiotherapist, facilitate group exercise sessions, and assist with rehabilitation programmes while contributing to admin and equipment management.

Qualifications

Worked within a care setting in the UK.
Good written and spoken English.
Physically able to undertake the responsibilities of the role.
Experience of working autonomously.
Experience of working with clients / patients individually and in groups.
IT skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out patient treatments under the supervision of the Physiotherapist, including use of the anti-gravity treadmill.
Carry out and oversee the running of group exercise classes.
Maintain accurate, objective up-to-date patient records according to Trust standards.
Assist with equipment ordering and management of equipment.
Work with the wider trauma multidisciplinary team and provide cross-cover as required.
Provide administrative tasks and clerical duties in the department as required.
