The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Band 5 Staff Nurse position in the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit. You will join a friendly, professional team providing pre/postoperative care and early rehabilitation for trauma patients, with close collaboration with the neck of femur unit and ortho-geriatric teams.

We support staff development through weekly ward teaching, advanced trauma nurse input, and a two-week supernumerary induction programme.

Competenze

• Experience in NHS acute clinical setting is required.
• Two week supernumerary induction programme on the ward.
• Supervisory band 7 Sister and active practice education team available.

Mansioni

• The Trauma Unit cares for patients during an unplanned admission.
• Pre & postoperative care and early rehabilitation alongside conservative treatments for patients.
• Trauma team collaborates with the fractured neck of femur unit and across ortho-geriatricians, medical and surgical teams.
