Job summary

SWAAY Child & Adolescent Limited is seeking a Therapist to work with a small caseload of 6-8 young people who have experienced developmental trauma, attachment difficulties and complex needs. You will deliver individual and group therapies from our Wokingham office, with travel to local schools and residential homes as required.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, plan evidence-based programmes, maintain case notes and participate in supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's level qualification or Level 4 Counselling qualification (or above)
• Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP)
• Experience working therapeutically with children and young people
• Knowledge or experience of attachment-informed practice or trauma-informed approaches desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions for young people with complex needs
• Work closely with residential and education teams to integrate therapy into daily care
• Be an active member of multidisciplinary core teams
• Plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based therapeutic group programmes
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and maintain clinical documentation
