Job summary

SWAAY is seeking a Therapist to work with a small caseload of 6-8 young people in Wokingham/Binfield, with occasional travel to residential homes. You will deliver individual and group therapy rooted in trauma-informed approaches, collaborating with education and residential teams to embed therapy into daily care.

The role requires a Master’s level qualification or Level 4 Counselling, and registration with HCPC/BACP/BABCP/UKCP.

Qualifications

• Master's level qualification or Level 4 Counselling qualification (or above)
• Registration/accreditation with HCPC, BACP, BABCP or UKCP
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions with children and young people
• Knowledge of attachment-informed practice or trauma-informed approaches desirable
• Ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with young people

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual therapeutic interventions for young people with complex needs
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary core team
• Plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based therapeutic group programmes
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and ensure therapeutic consistency
• Complete clinical administration and record keeping
