Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Residential Childcare Practitioner in Elderslie, Paisley. The role involves supporting young people with daily routines, education preparation, meals, activities and providing nurturing, therapeutic care to those who have experienced trauma.

You will work with colleagues to deliver high-quality, child-centred care, maintain records, contribute to care planning and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines and school readiness.
• Provide consistent, nurturing and therapeutic care to children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity.
• Assist with care planning, risk assessments and accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in team meetings, training and reflective practice sessions.
• Help with light housekeeping to maintain a warm, homely environment.
