Job summary

Phoenix Futures seeks a Therapeutic Worker for its Trauma Responsive Women’s Therapeutic Community Residence, Ophelia House, in England. The role centres on managing a small caseload, delivering therapeutic groups and coordinating care from admission to discharge, within a women-only residential service.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with individuals with complex and unique needs
• Involvement in collaborating with families and individuals in substance use or relevant domains
• Aptitude for creative thinking and adaptability
• Ability to collaborate with multiple agencies while upholding service standards
• Good working knowledge of adult protection and safeguarding in a residential setting

Responsibilities

• Manage a small caseload of less than five women and develop personalised care plans
• Apply the community-as-method model with users, families and networks
• Deliver therapeutic groups, activities and interventions as per the Therapeutic Community manual
• Foster a safe, compassionate environment and a strong development culture
• Coordinate the care process from admission to discharge planning
