Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision in Wolverhampton from September. You will support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs and work closely with teaching staff to help learners overcome barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will have significant AP/PRU experience, strong behaviour management, and a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed; Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working in an Alternative Provision or PRU setting.
• Proactive, positive and resilient approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs to overcome barriers to learning.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and provide targeted support in and out of the classroom.
• Contribute to creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
