Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking dedicated teaching assistants to support learners outside mainstream education in an EOTAS setting. The role offers a salary of £23,800.90 - £24,978.13 plus access to training and development opportunities, with flexibility across sites including a pupil referral unit to help learners with emotional, behavioural or medical needs.

A Level 3 qualification (NVQ3) is required or desirable, plus experience with children.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with children of relevant age.
• Training in literacy, ICT, maths, English or sign language.
