Job summary

Harmoni is recruiting a Support Worker (Days) for Utility Street Men’s Hostel in Belfast. You will provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to single men experiencing homelessness, developing plans and promoting independent living.

Join a close-knit team committed to dignity, respect and quality care. The role runs 37.5 hours per week on a rota, from admission to move-on, and involves coordinating with external agencies and teaching practical daily living skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.
• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential records.
• Ability to work in stressful situations, sometimes as a lone worker.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents through admission and move-on.
• Develop and review person-centred support plans.
• Provide practical guidance on budgeting and healthy living.
• Collaborate with external agencies to coordinate support.
