Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners in the UK. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tutoring with flexible in-person, hybrid, and remote options. QTS/QTLS and an Enhanced DBS are required, with 2+ years of experience and safeguarding knowledge.

The position is self-employed, with competitive pay of £28–£35 per hour and opportunities to work flexibly to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work, including for remote/online roles.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils and students referred by local authorities and schools.
• Engage with learners in a trauma-informed, inclusive manner to raise attainment.
