Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support learners with SEND and SEMH through in-person, hybrid, and online tutoring. Roles emphasize flexible hours, trauma-informed teaching, and a mission to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, hold QTS/QTLS, and possess an enhanced DBS with right to work in the UK. Roles are self-employed and arranged via local authorities and schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references, right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEND/SEMH needs
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring
• Contribute to a trauma-informed approach to transforming learners’ engagement and outcomes
