Job summary

Nottingham Girls’ Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, invites applications for an experienced SEMH and Behaviour Specialist. You will support students with SEMH needs using evidence-based behaviour management, mentoring and interventions to improve engagement, wellbeing and achievement.

You will work within our SEND team to promote inclusive learning, build trusting relationships with vulnerable students, and apply restorative and trauma-informed strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant SEMH experience with young people.
• Expertise in behaviour support and restorative strategies.
• Proven track record mentoring vulnerable students.
• Experience assessing barriers to learning and targeted support.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and emotional wellbeing.
