Nottingham Girls’ Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, is seeking a dedicated practitioner to support pupils with SEMH. You will apply restorative, trauma-informed and emotional literacy strategies to promote inclusion, engagement and wellbeing.

You will mentor vulnerable students, assess barriers to learning, and collaborate with families and external services to secure the best outcomes. ELSA training or equivalent experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with young people with SEMH needs.
• Expertise in behaviour support and trauma-informed strategies.
• Proven track record mentoring vulnerable students and providing pastoral support.
• Experience assessing barriers to learning for SEMH, ASD, EAL, literacy needs.
• Knowledge of restorative approaches and emotional literacy.
