Job summary

Sheffield Inclusion Centre is seeking an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to drive up safeguarding standards across a multi-site school in Sheffield. You will lead on safeguarding policy, staff training and coordination with external agencies to support our most vulnerable pupils.

Advanced safeguarding training and experience in child protection are essential. You will work with the Headteacher and safeguarding team to ensure a traumainformed, proactive response while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• Advanced Safeguarding training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Child Protection, Children Looked After and early help.
• Ability to work with external agencies and multi-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safeguarding strategic oversight and daily management across safeguarding matters (including online safety).
• Develop, implement and review safeguarding policies, procedures and training.
• Coordinate safeguarding with Headteacher and external agencies as needed.
• Provide support and advice to staff on Keeping Children Safe in Education updates.
• Manage complex workloads and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
