Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a children's residential provider in Carmarthenshire to recruit Residential Support Workers for Llanelli. The role offers day and night shifts with immediate start, focusing on helping children and young people with EBD/SEMH or trauma in a child-centered setting.

Experience in residential care and a DBS check (or willingness) are required, as is registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness).

Qualifications

• Experience of working in residential/care settings.
• Child & Adult DBS or willingness to apply.
• Registered with Social Care Wales or willingness to apply.
• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma.
• Desirable - driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for children and young people with EBD/SEMH or trauma.
• Maintain a safe, consistent and secure environment and routines.
