TeacherActive is supporting a children's residential provider in Carmarthenshire to recruit Residential Support Workers for Llanelli. The role offers day and night shifts with immediate start, focusing on helping children and young people with EBD/SEMH or trauma in a child-centered setting.

Experience in residential care and a DBS check (or willingness) are required, as is registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness).

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children's residential provider in the heart of Carmarthenshire to look for Residential Support Workers. The houses care for children and young people who have been diagnosed with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health), or complex trauma needs.

We are looking for a Residential Support Workers to work on a full and part time basis with varying day and night shifts available. Our residential provider adopts an ethos that is child focused, while understanding that children will thrive when they feel safe and secure. A focus on providing consistency and continuity, ensuring at all times that children's wishes are heard and respected.

The successful Residential Support Worker will have:

• Experience of working in residential/care settings
• Child & Adult DBS or willingness to apply

• Registered with Social Care Wales or willingness to apply

• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma

• Desirable - driving licence

• Flexibility with shifts
