Job summary

Cyfannol Women’s Aid in Pontypool, Torfaen, United Kingdom, seeks a People Partner to lead the operation of our People Services, driving trauma-informed and values-led HR practice across the organisation.

You will handle complex employee relations, safeguarding-related workforce risk, and build management capability while coordinating across Gwent offices with regular on-site presence. The role is permanent and full-time with 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of People Services across service areas, ensuring a high-quality, values-led HR service.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations, safeguarding concerns and high-risk cases.
• Ensure safeguarding principles are embedded in workforce practice and advise on policy adherence.
• Coach managers to resolve issues early and in line with policy and legislation.
• Analyse workforce data to inform proactive interventions and risk reduction.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the People Strategy with senior leadership.
• Translate workforce data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
• Provide governance to ensure compliance with employment law and safeguarding requirements.
• Lead on building management capability through coaching and development support.
• Oversee cross-geographical HR service delivery and collaboration with senior leaders.
