Job summary

Spring Brook Lower School, part of Spring Brook Academy, seeks a term-time support assistant to help pupils with SEMH and trauma; you will run reading/phonics sessions, support behavioural goals and supervise lunch breaks. DBS enhanced and UK work rights required. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not offered).
• Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.
• Deliver bespoke reading and phonics interventions to individuals or small groups.
• Provide pastoral, emotional and educational support to pupils in crisis or affected by trauma.
• Supervise pupils at lunch and breaks.
• Work with staff to implement bespoke strategies and interventions.
