Job summary

Inspire EHC Ltd is recruiting a Nurture and Behaviour Support Mentor for a specialist school near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will support pupils with SEN, SEMH and Autism, working with a dedicated SEN team to deliver nurturing, trauma-informed care.

The role focuses on building emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and personalised learning plans while collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH and Autism.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, SEMH and Autism.
• Support pupils within lessons, helping them access learning alongside the class teacher.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and positive behaviour support strategies.
• Deliver structured, creative and nurturing activities that support learning and development.
