The Cambian Group is seeking an Assistant Mental Health Practitioner to support the clinical service for our Child Sexual Exploitation service across Shropshire. The role involves coordinating assessments, delivering psycho-educational interventions, and providing staff training.

You will work under supervision within a regional clinical team supporting residential and education settings, with focus on trauma-informed care and safeguarding of young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children/young people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of psychometrics and data gathering.
• Understanding of trauma-informed practices and attachment-based approaches.
• PACE compassionate approach to working with young people.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Have a full driving licence and own vehicle for travel to multiple sites.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate information and write assessment reports under supervision.
• Develop and deliver psycho-educational interventions to young people.
• Develop and deliver training to residential and educational staff.
• Support professionals with consultations and meetings by gathering information and taking notes.
• Undertake literature reviews to inform practice.
