Job summary

Five Rivers is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our 1 Ace Provision in Ilford, London. You will support teachers in classrooms and the community, working within a trauma-informed framework to help children unlock their passion for learning.

We offer progression in a therapeutically based organisation, with full-time hours (37.5 per week) and flexible arrangements. The role emphasises safeguarding, development, and collaboration with our experienced team.

Qualifications

• Good written and IT skills.
• Ability to communicate with children and colleagues.
• Able to actively listen to others.
• Valid Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in classrooms and in the community.
• Work within a trauma-informed practice model to support learning and well-being.
• Contribute to safeguarding and help create a respectful, inclusive environment for pupils.
