Hampshire County Council is seeking a Senior Tutor for Swanwick Lodge to lead delivery of inclusive education for children and young people with complex needs. You will inspire learners, support progression and lead Tutors and Learning Coaches in a trauma-informed, therapeutic setting at Swanwick Lodge.

Based at Swanwick Lodge, part of the Secure and Specialist Education Service, you will oversee a small residential environment for up to ten learners aged 10 to 17, driving engagement,

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or equivalent
• Experience delivering high-quality education and skills provision
• Experience leading or managing staff
• Knowledge of education standards, quality assurance and inspection requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good digital/ICT skills and familiarity with learning technologies
• Commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
• Resilience, adaptability and ability to lead others to positive outcomes
