Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an early years setting.
• Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and patience when working with children and adults.
• Mandatory Enhanced DBS Check and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Supporting groups and individual children within the Reception Classroom to promote inclusive learning.
• Assisting with curriculum development through the environment and using initiative to enhance provision.
• Liaising with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's needs.
• Supporting children with additional needs, including trauma-informed approaches, and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.
