Job summary

Stop Domestic Abuse in Havant is seeking a dedicated IDVA/Ou tr e ach support worker to take referrals, contact clients and assess risk in a trauma-informed environment.

The role requires female applicants only due to legal occupational requirements; enhanced DBS clearance is required. The post is permanent and offers a 32.5-hour week, primarily Monday–Friday 9:00am–6:00pm on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Female applicants only due to occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9.

Responsibilities

• Take referrals and contact clients, conduct risk assessments and holistic needs assessments.
• Upload information to our secure case management system.
• Identify the most suitable service for each individual and allocate to IDVA or Outreach services.
• Provide immediate safety advice when necessary.
