Job summary

Swaay Child And Adolescent Services Limited is seeking a Deputy Home Manager for our 4-bed children's home in Bracknell. You will support the Registered Manager to deliver outstanding care to traumatised young people in a safe, nurturing environment.

We value trauma-informed practice and child-centered care, with opportunities for professional development and funded leadership training. This role requires a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Residential Childcare (Levels 3/4) or equivalent.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma or willingness to work towards.
• Experience in residential settings with children/young people.
• Experience in a senior/deputy role with managerial responsibilities.
• Strong safeguarding and trauma-informed care understanding.
• Compassion, resilience, and positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the home.
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.
• Support, supervise and develop staff team.
• Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
• Act as a positive role model for young people.
• Support young people to achieve personal goals and independence.
• Assist with reports and regulatory requirements.
