Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking caring individuals to join as Children's Support Workers. You will provide trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, and help young people achieve stability.

The role includes meals, education support, life-skills coaching, and advocating for the voices of the children. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car are required, with flexibility for nights, weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, paid or voluntary.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.
• Patience, empathy and emotional resilience.
• Flexible approach including nights, weekends and sleep-ins.
• A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported.
• Build positive relationships and promote healthy routines.
• Prepare meals, support education, and encourage life skills.
• Advocate for their voice and ensure they feel heard and valued.
• Support medical appointments and community activities.
• Use your vehicle to transport young people when needed.
• Help them move forward with confidence into their next chapter.
