Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct experience supporting children or young people in crisis or residential settings.
• Proven ability to apply de-escalation techniques and make safe decisions under pressure.
• Active PVG scheme membership or willingness to register.
• Full UK driving licence with business insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, tailored care to young people facing severe emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed principles to navigate deregulated behaviour safely and effectively.
• Foster resilience and independence by supporting service users with routine activities, personal development, and local community integration.
• Maintain flawless daily records and incident reports while upholding rigorous personal and professional boundaries.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners, family networks, and care teams to ensure a unified circle of support.
