Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Core Team based at Baghill House Health and Wellbeing Centre, Pontefract. You will work as an autonomous practitioner alongside Senior Occupational Therapists and the multidisciplinary team, delivering trauma-informed OT assessments and interventions.

• Must be an autonomous practitioner within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed OT assessments and interventions.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and students.
• Facilitation of Occupational Therapy groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior staff and students within the team.

• Work within a fully established MDT delivering trauma-informed care.
• Contribute to local community recovery pathways alongside other professionals.
