Pertemps is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator in Ashbourne. The role focuses on planning and coordinating daily transport activities, liaising with customers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in logistics, strong communication and IT skills, and a proactive, team-focused attitude. A full-time position with opportunities for development is offered.

• 2–3 years' experience in transport, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate daily transport activities across fleet and third-party logistics providers.
• Schedule customer and collection orders.
• Manage delivery schedules, ETAs and operational changes.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and departments across the business.
• Create pick lists and delivery documentation.
• Provide inbound logistics support, including dealing with HGV drivers, EU vehicle documentation and vehicle weighments.
• Investigate delivery issues and customer queries and help coordinate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records on the CRM system.
• Support colleagues across different areas of the logistics function when required.

• £31,000 salary

What will you be doing?

• Planning and coordinating daily transport activities across the company fleet and third-party logistics providers

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience within transport, logistics or supply chain, with around 2–3 years' experience advantageous
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to stay calm and organised when priorities change
• A proactive, positive and team-focused attitude
• The ability to commute reliably to Ashbourne
