Randstad Inhouse Services in Peterlee is seeking a Transportation & Logistics Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and administer domestic and international transport operations, ensuring on-time movement of parts, kits and finished goods. You will liaise with carriers, customers, warehouse teams and international suppliers to maintain service levels and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring experience with freight booking systems and SAP, strong analytical and reporting skills, and a proactive mindset

Transportation & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Peterlee (On-site)

Contract: Fixed term assignment till Nov 2027

Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Pay Rates

• Day Shift: £20.33
• Afternoon Shift (20% premium): £24.40
• Night Shift (35% premium): £27.45
• Overtime 1.5 (Mon-Sat): £30.50
• Overtime 2 (Sundays): £40.66

Shift Timings

• Days: 08:00 - 16:00 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 12:30 (Fri)
• Afternoons: 16:00 - 00:00 (Mon-Thurs), 12:30 - 17:00 (Fri)
• Nights: 00:00 - 08:00 (Mon-Thurs), 17:00 - 21:30 (Fri)

Role Overview

The Transportation & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and administration of domestic and international transport operations, ensuring the timely and compliant movement of parts, kits, and finished goods. The role acts as a key liaison between carriers, customers, warehouse operations, and international suppliers to maintain service levels, support continuous improvement initiatives, and manage transportation compliance activities.
