Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our new distribution centre in Ellesmere Port as a Transport Team Manager.

This role involves working a rotational shift Monday - Friday, from 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm.

You will operate in line with company values to provide excellent customer service to our retail teams and drivers, working collaboratively with DC loading teams and ensuring all legal requirements are met.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct driver pre-shift briefings (despatching drivers) and de-briefs.
• Manage drivers on a day-to-day basis.
• Enter R2C data and complete Scania grading/reports.
• Conduct return-to-work meetings, 4/8/12-week reviews, and conduct/absence investigations.
• Provide customer service to retail teams as needed.
• Liaise with DC teams and complete near-miss reporting.
• Support the Transport Shift Manager when required.
