Care Plus Group is seeking a Transport Service Manager for Day Opportunities in North East Lincolnshire. You will lead a team of transport staff, ensuring safe, accessible and efficient vehicle operations while complying with Health and Safety and Road Traffic laws.
Role requires driving when needed, coordinating rounds, allocating work and conducting staff appraisals. Salary ranges from £30,285 to £36,893 per year, with a 37.5‑hour week (Mon–Fri 07:00–15:30) and permanent status.
The aims of the Transport Service are to provide safe, accessible and efficient transport means to vulnerable people in order that they can participate in the services offered by Day Opportunities for vulnerable people throughout North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding area., You will undertake the day to day management of a team of transport staff, delivering a comprehensive and professional service, ensuring all Health and Safety regulations and Road Traffic legislation are adhered to in relation to transportation and vehicle safety. You will be required to drive vehicles as and when needed. You will co‑coordinate the vehicle rounds and staffing ensuring that these meet the needs of the customers and are safe, accessible and efficient. You will allocate work to staff, including setting priorities, timescales and targets. You will undertake supervision meetings and Performance Reviews. You will address day to day staffing issues e.g. performance, capability, as they arise. Approve and monitor staff leave and sickness absence and take action as appropriate.

37.5 hrs a week, permanent Mon - Fri 07:00 - 15:30 with requirement to work flexibly on occasions.
