FindCore is recruiting a Senior Transport Supervisor for a busy distribution operation in Wishaw. You will lead a small transport team, manage a mixed fleet and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

The role offers a base salary of £35,000 with an annual profit share, typically around £10,000, plus additional benefits. This permanent, full-time position provides development and a clear path for progression within a national distribution business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a transport/wholesale distribution team.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
• Experience managing drivers and fleets.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance and Operator Licence requirements.
• Proven ability to plan routes for efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a transport team of 6 and a supervisor.
• Oversee day-to-day transport operations and fleet compliance.
• Plan routes to maximise vehicle utilisation and fuel efficiency.
• Ensure health & safety standards across the site.
• Coach drivers and address compliance issues promptly.
• Manage audits, inspections and maintenance scheduling.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
