The Great Western Hospitals NHS FT is seeking a driver to join the Transport & Fleet Services team. The role involves loading and dispatching goods, delivering internal mail and medical supplies, and collecting clinical waste along a multi-site route with 7.5 hour shifts starting between 07:00 and 11:00.
You will also collect pathological samples and support out-of-hours resilience driving as required. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.
The post holder will work for the Transport & Fleet Services department as a driver either on a collection/delivery of stores/specimen samples, a collection of clinical waste from patient home addresses within Wiltshire and neighboring counties or a driver/courier of miscellaneous goods or clean and dirty Linen. At the time of advertising, this role does not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK. For this reason, we are unable to sponsor anyone for a skilled worker visa for this role. We are happy to accept applications from candidates who can prove their right to work in the UK or via alternative visa routes. Such applications will be considered alongside all other applications.
