Job summary

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Transport Team Driver to operate across our Transport & Fleet Services. The role involves collecting and delivering stores, specimens, clinical waste, and linen on predefined routes with 7.5-hour shifts, typically starting between 07:00 and 11:00.

Qualifications

• Full & Valid Driving Licence is required.
• COSHH knowledge is beneficial.
• NHS/public sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load goods prior to dispatch on timed routes including pharmacy items, medical records, and linen.
• Deliver and collect internal mail, documents, and equipment on predetermined routes, shifts 7.5 hours long (start times 07:00–11:00).
• Collect pathological samples from clinics and deliver to pathology labs.
• Collect clinical waste from patients' homes on a dedicated route.
