Job Description:

Station Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3

Every time you pick up the phone, surf the Internet, travel on a motorway, catch a train, bus, or tube, or even dial 999; chances are Telent has enabled the technology to make this happen. The successful Station Systems Technician Level 3 will be responsible for carrying out planned and corrective maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PAVA, PIS, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working Monday to Friday during the day, covering stations in London down to the South Coast.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending planned and corrective maintenance tasks
• Ensuring SISS assets are well maintained and station communication faults are reported and repaired
• Utilising field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completions
• Performing scheduled maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader

Candidate requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role or with CCTV/IP systems, electrical background, and understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is preferred.

Key requirements:

• Experience with CCTV, CIS, PAVA, PHP, or electrical background
• Ability to monitor work progress and handle issues
• Good understanding of ServiceNow or similar IT systems for updating and reporting
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work Monday to Friday during the day
