Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment seeks a reliable Transport Supervisor for a major parcel distribution client in Lutterworth. The role requires transport knowledge, leadership of the transport team, and ensuring on-time departures.

You will manage driver paperwork, update delivery schedules, and oversee staff performance, discipline, mentoring and development. The position is PAYE with a £16.48 per hour rate, 18:00–6:00 shifts, 4 on/4 off.

Transport knowledge is essential, as you will be working in a busy transport office, and the role will include:

• Leading the Transport Team, ensuring all duties are undertaken
• Ensuring on-time departure and exception reporting
• Checking driver paperwork
• Updating delivery schedules
• Managing the workforce with:
  • Performance & output
  • Disciplinary procedures
  • Mentoring & Engagement

You will play a key role in ensuring continuous improvement and always encouraging the company culture.

What You Need:

• You will have experience in a fast-paced logistics operation
