Wren Kitchens Limited is seeking a Transport Supervisor at the Stansted Depot. The role supervises the transport depot and covers the Transport Manager in their absence.

You will join an award-winning team with a focus on operational excellence, delivering multi-drop transport and overseeing driver hours and safety. The role offers a guaranteed 40-hour week, with a quarterly bonus up to £500 and a salary around £36k–£38k.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transport office with multi-drop deliveries.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist transport management in smooth operation of the transport function.
• Oversee trunking operations and ensure evening smoothness.
• Keep vehicles maintained in line with legal requirements.
• Support drivers in the transport yard as needed.
• Assist with boxing vehicles for deliveries.
• Manage drivers to comply with hours rules using company processes.
• Investigate incidents and near misses when required.
• Assist training team with adding new drivers.
• Support recruitment of new drivers.

About The Role

Location: Stansted, UK
Salary: £35,979.25 - £37,979.25
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Bonus: Quarterly bonus up to £500 Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking to recruit a Transport Supervisor to join our Stansted Depot. The Transport Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Transport Depot and covering the Transport Manager in their absence. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an award-winning Transport team, who have won numerous awards for Operational, Business and H&S excellence over the last two years.
The Transport Supervisor will work full time, with varied hours and days in peak season. You will be given notice prior to peak periods.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist our transport management team in the smooth running of the transport function
• Ensure that the trunking operation runs as smoothly as possible throughout the evening
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements
• Assist drivers with tasks in the Transport Yard when required
• Assist with boxing the vehicles for deliveries
• Ensure drivers are managed correctly to work within the driver's hours and working time regulations, using the company recognised processes to manage full compliance
• Thoroughly investigate any incidents, accidents and near misses when required
• Assist the training team with the addition of new drivers to the transport department
• Support the Transport Manager and training team with the recruitment of new drivers

About You

• Experienced working within a transport office for multi drop deliveries
• Minimum of 1 years team leader / management experience within a transport or logistics office
• Strong IT skills - in particular Excel
• Strong knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• Strong knowledge of driver compliance
• IOSH Certificate and First Aid Certificate
• LGV Licence and CPC Card Applications are subject to a basic DBS check, convictions considered on an individual basis.
