Job description

Opportunity for an experienced leader in transport operations to join the team as a Distribution Shift Manager at our Fresh Direct (a Sysco company) depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire, on a permanent basis.

Position Details

• Salary: £22,800 per annum plus a great range of benefits
• Working hours: 24 hours a week, Sat - Mon, 9am - 5pm (Flexibility required during peak season)
• Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Role Overview

You'll play a key role in a dynamic distribution environment, overseeing shifts, ensuring high team performance, and maintaining compliance with all legislative and company standards. You will work closely with the Distribution Manager to develop and motivate a team of drivers and administration colleagues, manage costs, and foster a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee driver performance and compliance with transport legislation

Candidate Requirements

Solid understanding of transport legislation and operational requirements. Ideally, hold a Management CPC qualification or be an experienced leader working towards becoming a transport professional.
