Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a driven Transport Sales Executive to drive growth across the Norfolk region. You will win new business, nurture existing accounts and promote transport and plant hire solutions with a consultative approach.

Reporting to the MD, you will build lasting customer relationships, deliver tailored quotations, and strive to exceed sales targets in a busy, collaborative environment with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
• Knowledge of plant hire, transport, construction or equipment hire sectors.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, organised and self-motivated.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Promote transport and plant hire services across Norfolk and surrounding areas.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate agreements and follow opportunities through to completion.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales process.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales records and effectively manage your pipeline.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
