AB Texel UK Ltd is seeking a proactive Transport Planner to join our team in Greetham, Rutland. The role involves planning driver routes, briefing and debriefing drivers, and ensuring smooth shift operations in a busy logistics environment.

We require strong organisational skills, a good understanding of the UK, and excellent communication. A rota for out-of-hours support is included, with a competitive package and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or transport office environment.
• Good understanding of drivers hours / working time directive.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute driver routes according to load and priorities.
• Brief and debrief drivers; manage shift issues and contingencies.
• Maintain high compliance standards and liaise with customers and drivers.
• Provide out-of-hours support as part of a rota and deliver excellent service.
