This full-time, permanent role suits someone with UK transport knowledge, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to adapt to changes at short notice. Salary ranges from GBP33,000 to GBP36,000 per year.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Transport Planning, Logistics or a similar operational role.
• Strong understanding of UK transport operations and driver hours.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan daily transport schedules and allocate work to drivers.
• Coordinate vehicles and trailers to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor deliveries and collections throughout the day.
• Maintain regular contact with drivers, customers and internal teams.
• React quickly to delays, breakdowns and changes to planned routes.
• Monitor driver hours and ensure compliance.
• Maintain transport and operational records.
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery and collection needs.
• Monitor vehicle availability and assist with fleet planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve vehicle utilisation and reduce mileage.
• Support the wider transport operation with admin and reporting.
