Sysco Belfast is seeking a Transport Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will plan multi-drop delivery routes to customers nationwide and coordinate with depot managers to optimize efficiency.

You will monitor daily KPIs and drive cost effective routes, while adhering to tachograph rules and road regulations. The role is based in Belfast with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transport planning and operational processes.
• Experience in the logistics industry.
• Proficiency with Excel and other IT tools; ability to analyse data.

Responsibilities

• Plan multi-drop delivery routes for drivers.
• Utilise fleet efficiently to reduce delivery costs.
• Coordinate backhaul with Transport Manager and Depot Managers.
• Monitor daily KPIs and costings; report findings.
• Ensure compliance with tachograph rules and hours of service.
