Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Transport Planner to design and manage efficient transport plans, optimise vehicle and driver utilisation, and ensure service levels and network KPIs are met. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and maintains strong relationships across operations, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning (essential).
• Analytical problem-solver able to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient IT skills, especially Excel and TMS.
• Good understanding of driver regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transport operations using TMS, including load building and route creation.
• Deliver transport plans on time while meeting utilisation and service KPIs.
• Monitor network performance and analyse data to drive improvements in efficiency.
• Manage subcontractor and agency relationships to meet demand.
• Build relationships with transport sites, suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
