Job summary

Welfare 4 Hire, part of the AER Rents Group, is recruiting a Transport Planner to support transport operations across depots in London, Leicester, Gloucester, Nantwich and Durham. You will coordinate deliveries, optimise schedules, and maintain planning data while ensuring high service levels for welfare unit hire customers.

The role offers a full-time, 45-hour week with a competitive salary, pension, and opportunities for progression within a growing national group.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, scheduling or similar operational role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer hire and service enquiries via telephone and email.
• Coordinate daily delivery and collection schedules with drivers and depot teams.
• Plan and optimise internal and external transport activities for efficiency.
• Monitor planning systems and maintain accurate driver/vehicle data.
• Assist with fuel management and fuel card administration.
• Produce transport reports and operational documentation.
• Support compliance and vehicle maintenance administration.
