Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to plan driver and vehicle resources to meet delivery/collection times while optimising assets and adhering to WTD and drivers hours regulations.

The role is based in Minworth on a full-time permanent basis with 4 on 4 off days, 6am–6pm, offering a salary of £31,986 per annum and a supportive, inclusive culture focused on development and recognition.

Qualifications

• Proven tachograph knowledge and driving rules.
• Planning and organising to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent communication to deliver accurate information.
• Good IT skills including MS Office with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating daily run summaries to meet delivery/collection deadlines.
• Ensuring service levels are achieved and maintained with other departments.
• Planning runs using the driver rota; considering holidays and sickness.
• Ensuring legal compliance for defects, services, MOTs, etc.
• Maintaining clear communication with drivers about start times, loads, directions.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and legal requirements.
• Assisting with disciplinary and return-to-work procedures where needed.
